hedda gabler act 1

so far in my meanderings in Hedda Gabler i have been thoroughly disappointed. i find this book very unsatisfying to the imagination and creative sides of my brain. so far this play seems to be simply going through the motions of an introduction. i find this very boring and hard to read, not in the sense taht it is complex but in the sense that it is not the slightest bit interesting. i sincerely hope that it will soon traverse into an interesting play full of interesting plot twists and conflicts.

i sincerely hope so to does this count as a comment ... how about if i add that the play does pick up and sends you into a whirlwind of drama action and tension between the protagonists and the antagonists?

i'm pretty sure you've read the following Acts by now..do you still agree with your initial thoughts on the book?

after a second analysis of the act 1 i think there is alot more to it then what i withdrew from the first 10 pages or so.

now i actually think act 1 is a good introduction for the rest of the play.
